American Malaise is based on my own cultural experience of America, a country of displaced people finding opportunity. The collection uses cowboys and the Wild West as a deeply American inspiration and blends it with Japanese Anime about space and fantasy. The collection is a mix of American and Non-American cultural references in the same way I am.
